FLOW STATE

FLOW STATE is a captivating state of body- mind alignment where you are extremely engaged, productive and also feel great. You don’t have to force yourself to work hard. Rather, it seems as if you are ‘flowing’ through the activity or work you are doing.

Most people assume that relaxation makes them happy. They want to work less and spend more time in the hammock. However, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s (author of the book ‘Flow State’) studies reveal that most people have this wrong.

“The best moments in our lives are not the passive, receptive, relaxing times… The best moments usually occur if a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.”

Flow State = Happy State

PRINCIPLES OF FLOW ~

These are effective guidlines that can direct you into experiencing more Flow and Creativity in your life.

1. FOLLOW WHAT INSPIRES,  EXCITES AND FEEDS YOU
This is how you feed your passion and stay in a positive current of creativity and FLOW.

2. PRACTICE SELF LOVE & ACCEPTANCE OF WHAT IS HERE HAPPENING WITHIN YOU NOW
Connect with your self in loving and accepting ways that bring you closer to the authentic experience of NOW.

3. LISTEN FOR AND FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION TO GUIDE YOU
There is a knowing sense in you that is ever present and can guide you to live in Flow and alignment.

4. CHOOSE TO FOCUS ON WHAT IS POSSIBLE
There is always a bigger picture of what is going on and where you direct your attention is where you have power. Focus on what you want rather than stressing about what you fear or worry about.

5. SHOW UP FROM A PLACE OF SERVICE AND BE OPEN TO RECEIVING
Help and serve others where and when you can. Give to others what you want and in the ways that you want to be treated. Give your attention and care freely as an unlimited recourse to serve the good in all.

6. SHIFT YOUR ROUTINE AND BE OPEN TO TRY NEW THINGS
Break out of limiting patterns and addictions that you know do not serve you. Challenge the limiting beliefs that have you play small or disengage from your purpose, passion, or mission.

7. GO ALL OUT!
Choose to push your self phsyically, sexually, or spiritually in ways that take you beyond your thrershhold of comfortable and normal. Good examples are climbing a mountail, going out for an adveture in the night, havign a Tantric lovemaking session with music and candles that is slow and deliberate, or create a form of Vision Guest with fasting and solotude in nature.

MOVEMENT INSPIRATION

Watch this video simply for the body awareness and conscious movement patterns. This is high level movement freedom that we can all apply a bit more to enhance how we use and embody our power and energy. There is no need to do or be like Ido Portal, however he is speaking to and pointing n the direction of reclaiming our bodies intelligence through creative and diversified movement.
